Theft makes the Soul powerless.

The eighth foundation of True Religion is "Non Stealing" or the absence of theft. Theft is both apparent and unobserved or hidden. In an apparent theft, the thief takes the possessions of someone else, in his own possession, but secretly or concealed. This kind of theft is a extremely condemnable and scandalous deed in the world. This is an action that causes loss to the self value and the prestige.

Penalties have also been enacted for this kind of theft. Penalty for the criminals of theft is received in both, the existing world and the otherworld. The thieves are penalized for their crimes, in this world, by the people who are authorised to punish, and in the future world, the same task is carried out by the deities. People have limited and little age here at the planet Earth, but more is in the other worlds. There is a limit to the sufferings being done here, but the limits of the sufferings in otherworld can not be described.

According to the scriptures, wicked souls continuously suffer in the hells and suffer from the misery and they continue to take birth within idiotic creatures, after suffering the miseries in the hells. In this way, the birth and death of the creatures continues in the universe. The person can hide the sight of theft or the apparent stealth, from someone else, but can never hide the stealth from the God.

The God is witness to every action of the creature. Therefore, it is possible that human beings could escape the punishment with any kind of effort or flattery in the world here, but they can never escape from the Divine Penalty.

There happens Psychic stealth in the unnoticed theft, such as false, unreal, or unclear speech, ill thoughts, ill sights or insanity, or confidentiality. Unintelligent theft can not be considered as a clear crime, but it is an evil, so there is a hindrance in the yoga path.

The yogi who practices God's worship, must keep his conduct clean and holy. He should not be motivated in any criminal act. Any kind of theft makes the soul inferior to power, while the purpose of the yogi is the accumulation of power. Only when the power grows, it can do supernatural work.

In this way, Yogi can be omnipotent doing accumulation of power and can perform unique and supernatural work in this world. His strength becomes greater than the other people But that does not mean that he can do all that, if everything is to be done then it is the ultimate power.
