The God can not be known by argument.

Ever since ancient times, attempts are being made to acquire knowledge about the God, but no one has known the God till today and probably will not be able to know anything about the God in the future.

In the pride of so much knowledge, the stark argumentative men have appeared in the world till now, they are still present there and will be present in the future as well, but with the logic or the argument they can not know the God.

Yet there are ways to know the God, and those measures are the godly devotion, godly love, the conviction of the true yogic practice, the conviction on the words of wisdom available in the scriptures etc.

The purpose of the basis of the true religion is that the human soul should become pure and make a firm belief of Yoga, and acquire knowledge of God's essence by the firm Yoga Samadhi.

However, instead of trying to get the essence of the God, people quibble over others and criticize what others do. Maybe it's their own way of assuring satisfaction to their mistaken false pride. But they do not know that argument or logic and criticism are death to the reverence, faith and the devotion.

Suppose a devotee is revealing his reverence in the statue of Lord Krishna or the other Deity and the other argumentative one says that statue is just a paper, wood, metal or stone, then the devotee will not be able to reveal his reverence.

Although the inanimate things are also animate, but they do not reveal before everyone, this is their speciality. Even if it happens, then they are forgotten by saying those events, mere miracles. For example, those who have argued the Ganesha idol's milk drinking, have forgotten the truth.

Argument is a sword that cuts the reverence. Though the argumentative or logical person can be rich with the knowledge of borrowing, but self-realized knowledge can not be his property.

The principle of godly devotion is that, it gives an interview of the ultimate element without hurting any system prevailing in the public. The mere meaning of nonviolence is that, people live their lives without harming the rights of the others, only then God will bless us and only then we will have enlightenment. Strong Divine Love is the surest way of enlightenment.
