Results of the Immoral family practices.

This conversation between the Arjuna and Krishna worth giving a thought. Though the war between the two brotherly groups happened about 5000 years ago but the following statements still hold good. This conversation shows up how a family can come to an end due to religious malpractice.

Etaan na hantum icchaami ghnato’pi madhusoodana; Api trailokya raajyasya hetoh kim nu maheekrite.

35. O Krishna! I do not wish to kill them, though they kill me. Not even for the sake of the dominion over the three worlds, where does matters the Earth?

Nihatya dhaartaraashtraan nah kaa preetih syaaj janaardana; Paapam evaashrayed asmaan hatwaitaan aatataayinah.

36. O Janardana! What pleasure shall we meet by killing these sons of Dhritarashtra? We will accrue only sin, by killing these felons.

Tasmaan naarhaa vayam hantum dhaartaraashtraan swabaandhavaan; Swajanam hi katham hatwaa sukhinah syaama maadhava.

37. Therefore, O Madhava! We are not able to kill these sons of Dhritarashtra, our relatives; because, how we will be happy by killing our own kinsmen?

Yadyapyete na pashyanti lobhopahatachetasah; Kulakshayakritam dosham mitradrohe cha paatakam.

38. Although, with the degraded intelligence, overpowered by the greed, they don't see evil created by the family destruction, and sin in depreciation to the friends.

Katham na jneyam asmaabhih paapaad asmaan nivartitum; Kulakshayakritam dosham prapashyadbhir Janardana.

39. Why should not we, who clearly see evil in the destruction of family, learn to turn away from this sin, O Janardana​?

COMMENT: Ignorance of the law is no excuse and wanton sinful conduct is a crime unworthy of knowledgeable people.

Kulakshaye pranashyanti kuladharmaah sanaatanaah; Dharme nashte kulam kritsnam adharmo’bhibhavatyuta.

40. Due to the destruction of families, the eternal family religious rites of that family perish; and upon the destruction of the religious practices, Iniquity spreads excessively throughout the whole family.

COMMENT: Kula Dharma pertains to the duties and ceremonies practised by the family in accordance with scriptural instructions.

Adharmaabhibhavaat krishna pradushyanti kulastriyah; Streeshu dushtaasu vaarshneya jaayate varnasankarah.

41. O Krishna! By excessive prevalence of impiety, the women of the family become corrupt and upon women becoming corrupted, O Varsneya (descendant of Vrishni), there germinates a hybrid or intermingled blood baby.

Sankaro narakaayaiva kulaghnaanaam kulasya cha; Patanti pitaro hyeshaam lupta pindodaka kriyaah.

42. The one who is born with intermingling of blood or confusion of castes leads the slayers of the family, along with whole family, to the hell merely, since their forefathers fall, deprived of the offerings of rice-ball and water.

Doshair etaih kulaghnaanaam varnasankarakaarakaih; Utsaadyante jaatidharmaah kuladharmaashcha shaashwataah.

43. By these intermingling evil deeds of the destroyers of the family, which cause confusion of castes, the eternal religious rites of the caste and the family are destroyed.

Utsannakuladharmaanaam manushyaanaam janaardana; Narake’niyatam vaaso bhavateetyanushushruma.

44. We have been kept hearing, O Janardana, that for those men, dwelling in the hell for an unknown period is inevitable, whose family religious practices have been destroyed.

Aho bata mahat paapam kartum vyavasitaa vayam; Yadraajya sukhalobhena hantum swajanam udyataah.

45. Oh! Alas! We are involved in a great sin, since we are eagerly prepared to kill our kinsmen through the greed for the pleasures of a kingdom.

True Religion and the aptness of using the Amulets, Spells, Sorcery and the Astronomy.

"Perfections are born or produced through Birth, Drugs, Spells, Austerity and Trances". If we relate astrology to birth, sorcery to medicine, austerity to the amulets and trances to True Religion, then we are able to understand that the amulets, spells, sorcery, astrology and the True Religion all are sources and supplements to the perfection.

"Quest for the salvation is True Religion". Its sole aim is to provide happiness to all the creatures and emancipation to the virtuous souls.

Amulets are mystical or astronomical figures which are supposed to perform occult operations. These are powerful capsules, which contain the treasure of mystical powers.

Spells are magical formulas used for repetition to produce Divine effects. Spells are also described as a protective instrument of the desires of the mind and a bridge between the devotee and the deity.

Sorcery is expressed as that which teaches the magical and the mystical formularies for the worship of the deities or the attainment of superhuman powers. It is also described as that which exposes the necessary behavioral knowledge or religious observances for the attainment of the God and Divine state.

Astrology is expressed as the art or science or skill of the influence of the Stars and the Planets on humans and terrestrial affairs.

All of these claim to have superhuman effects. The use of these magical arts is not denied if used for a worthy purpose and in a healthy way. However, every harmful and objectionable activities and observances or practices should be well avoided.

From the aptness point of view, it is  concluded that all of them provide and assist for happiness in one way or the other. Nevertheless the True Religion is the direct source of emancipation,  whereas all the others are merely associative elements for the attainment of the emancipation.

Hence, the use of these skills in present day context is not bad until they are being used for a worthy cause and in a proper manner. Their improper utilization is the only thing which is to be avoided.

Source of happiness is True Religion

SOURCE OF HAPPINESS IS TRUE RELIGION

Human keeps himself engaged in the quest of happiness and tries to find it by every this or that way. Generally happiness is called as the freedom or absence of grief and it is a specific attribute of the soul also. Chiefly the grief is of three types namely pertaining to corporeal world, godly world and spiritual world. In Manu Smriti the religion based actions of the form of, addiction in the action and freedom of the action are said to be conferer of happiness and emancipation. In Vidur Niti also, the acquirement of happiness is said to be through religious conduct. In Chanakya Niti the satisfaction is said to be the nectar and the acquisition of happiness is said to be through this nectar and it is also said that there is no happiness superior to satisfaction and knowledge. In Chanakya Sutra it is said that the source of happiness is religion and happiness is also said to be achieved through truth, association with good or pious men, acquirement of the son and the salvation.

In Geeta acquisition of the state, devoid of affection and malice is said to be through restraint and a complete end of all grieves is said to be through restraint. In Sankhya Darshan the freedom from triple fold grief is called as strenuous effort, salvation is said to be the state of happiness and the meditation method is said to be the mean for salvation. And bondage is told by the ignorance, whereas salvation is told by knowledge. In Yoga philosophy acquisition of happiness is told by the Satisfaction, which is a part of the precepts, ruled out in eight fold yogic path. And the acquirement of infinite knowledge and freedom from actions and sufferings is accomplished by acquirement of Dharam Megh Samadhi i.e. excessive religious trances, on renunciation of the prudential knowledge also. And this state is called as Soleness or Salvation during life. In Vaisheshik philosophy, absence of grief or the acquisition of happiness is told when the mind is established into the soul and this position is called as Yoga. And only those actions are told to be pleasure providing which are devoid of tangible fruitions. In Nyaya Philosophy the work performed with religious inclination is said to be pleasure giving. In Vedanta​ Philosophy the God is said to be the source of joy or happiness and it is indicated that the soul becomes joyful on attaining Succulent God and the joy is said to be the quality of Supreme God. In Vaiseshika philosophy Religion is defined as that “which provides the Prosperity and the Salvation.”

The definition of True Religion is “that religion (tenet, conduct, behavior or system) which provides happiness to all the creatures and provides emancipation by uniting the soul with the God is the True Religion.” In fact True Religion is the sure shot method of attainment of The God. This surely establishes the soul into the God quickly. This very state is known as the state of emancipation. In this very state the Yogi (practitioner) becomes enriched with spiritual trances, knowledge and the soul becomes joyful on attaining the Succulent God. Thus it is authentically proved that the source of happiness is True Religion and by True Religion an individual fords the worldly ocean easily and happily.

This compilation is the Spiritual, Numerical and Philosophical Knowledge that is much treasured by the young girls and of course the boys i.e. youth in general must also know these facts. Girls intended to try the guys tend to ask this question and take decisions about making further arrangements.

Elder people should likewise have some knowledge about this. I have offered as much as I can still something may wanting adding to this collection. Hence, you are being motivated for comments, suggestions and advice on improvements.

The question basically raised in a  young girl's mind, who happened to be a princess, while she were under family pressure to get wedded.
